Due to an increase in the Muslim population in the Stretford/Urmston/Sale and surrounding areas, for many years there has been limited space for Muslims to carry out Activities/Jumu'ah Salah.

Stretford Muslim Association (SMA) has been setup to determine whether there is a need for new or additional services in the Stretford and surrounding areas

We require feedback from local people to determine the next steps. The intention of a new Masjid/Community building will be to hold the following and more:

•⁠  ⁠Islamic classes including  Arabic, Tajweed, Tafseer etc.

•⁠  ⁠Madrasa Classes for children from Qualified Teachers

•⁠  ⁠Fitness and Sports classes for all

•⁠  ⁠Youth events such as Qiyaam Nights, Sport events, Retreats, Social events etc.

•⁠  ⁠Da’wah centre and open day for Non-Muslims

•⁠  ⁠Foodbank
